Battle Of The Bands 2013

This year we are happy to yet again be a part of the Youth Service Battle Of Bands! This will be the third year of the Battle Of The Bands that we have hosted and we hope there is just as much energy and enthusiasm as we have had for the last three years!

This year will feature six regional heats throughout youth clubs in Cardiff between the 24th and 29th of June with a fantastic youth final in The Moon Club on the 3rd July with a chance to win an amazing prize head to head against 18+ bands in Cardiff’s Big gig grand final.

The prizes for winning the Big Gig final will be as follows:

A chance to record at Musicbox with top producer Charlie Francis of REM and FOTL fame
An opportunity to perform at the Hub festival being organised by Full Moon in August
Free wristbands for the winning band for this year’s Swn festival
A place for 2 members of the winning act to attend the music master class course being run by the Welsh music foundation
An opportunity for all finalists to receive airplay on the Nation Radio Airplay show
Interview with Wales Online and the South Wales echo and recording time at their studios
Rehearsal time for the winning band Musicbox prior to their recording with Charlie Francis
